The Women’s Justice Movement (WJM) held the third session in its educational and psychological support programme on Saturday, October 17, 2026, focusing on the journey from survival to personal growth and the role of hope in overcoming life’s challenges.
Led by instructor Mobina Khairandish, the online session brought together 26 women and three men to discuss self-awareness, mental well-being, emotional management, self-confidence, resilience and self-care.
The session aimed to provide participants with practical approaches to navigating difficult circumstances, recognising their personal strengths and taking steps towards a more hopeful and fulfilling future.
From Survival to Growth: Building Resilience and Self-Confidence
During the session, Khairandish discussed the importance of understanding oneself, recognising and managing emotions, and developing the confidence to face life’s challenges. She also highlighted resilience and self-care as important elements of maintaining well-being during difficult periods.
The discussion emphasised that acknowledging emotions and seeking support when needed are important steps towards caring for one’s mental health. Participants were also encouraged to set realistic goals, recognise their individual abilities and identify practical steps that could support their personal development.
Encouraging Mutual Support and Solidarity
The session also highlighted the importance of empathy and mutual support among women. Creating supportive environments where women can share their concerns, seek help and learn from one another can contribute to a stronger sense of connection and confidence when facing challenges.
Through practical guidance and discussion, participants explored ways to recognise their strengths, respond to difficulties and take meaningful steps towards personal growth and empowerment.
WJM Continues Its Educational and Psychological Support Programme
The session was part of WJM’s ongoing efforts to raise awareness, support mental well-being and create a supportive space for women. By continuing these programmes, the movement seeks to strengthen self-belief, encourage personal development and expand opportunities for women and girls to learn, grow and support one another.
The programme reflects WJM’s commitment to supporting women and girls through education, awareness and initiatives that encourage resilience, confidence and empowerment.
